This is a song for my mum….and for the humble dandelion. There’s a little surprise at the very end of the video ❤
In 2013 mum had a major brain injury and wasn’t expected to survive, and on the day she was discharged, one of the first things she saw as she left the hospital was a dandelion growing through the pavement. She told me that the image of it kept her going on the hardest recovery days. A little reminder that anything is possible.
Over the past year, we almost lost her again on a number of occasions, but just like Dandelion, somehow, against all the odds, she’s still bringing sunshine to us all.
